Hartford Traffic Will Be 'Heavier Than Usual' Wednesday Night: Police
A Hartford Yard Goats game at 7 p.m. and a concert half an hour later will result in a packed downtown area, police said.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are warning the public that the city's downtown will be busier than usual on Wednesday night.
The Hartford Yard Goats will take on the Portland Sea Dogs at Dunkin Donuts Park at 7 p.m., and the band Journey is playing the XL Center at 7:30 p.m.

Since police expect a large turnout for both events, they said the downtown area will have "heavier than usual" vehicle and pedestrian traffic that night.
"We ask that you please plan accordingly to arrive on time and enjoy an evening in the City," Hartford police said.
