Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club Announces Sold Out Home Opener

On Apr. 13 at the Dunkin' Donuts Park the Yard Goats Baseball Club will play in front of a sold out crowd in the Double A Eastern League.

From The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball:The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, announced that the home opener on April 13th at Dunkin’ Donuts Park is sold out. Individual tickets went on sale at 10:00 this morning and within 30 minutes all the remaining seats were purchased. Individual tickets remain for the rest of opening week.

Season ticket holders, 18-game plan holders, and groups had the opportunity to purchase opening day tickets in advance. Professional baseball will be played in Hartford for the first time since 1952 as the Yard Goats host the Toronto Blue Jays affiliate, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

“We continue to be humbled by the overwhelming community support for our club as we put our individual game tickets on sale,” Yard Goats General Manger Tim Restall said. “This morning’s response from our great fans shows that this city is ready for baseball to return to Hartford.”

The Yard Goats will play 70 home games at Dunkin’ Donuts Park in 2017. Ticket information and the promotional schedule with all of the firework shows, entertainment acts and premium giveaway dates is available to view on the website, www.yardgoatsbaseball.com.

Season tickets, ticket packages, group and hospitality tickets and luxury suites for all other home games are now on sale by calling the box office at 860-246-4628. The Yard Goats announced last month that all Premium Sections Season Tickets have been sold out for the 2017 season.
