HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — Rain is forecast to move into the region just after noon Sunday and before it ends, an inch of rain may fall before midnight, according to the National Weather Service.

And already, the weather service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Wednesday and Thursday as more rain is forecast, but the big story will be the strong wind gusts.

"A cold front may bring gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph Wednesday night into Thursday which may require wind headlines for some portions of southern New England," the weather service said.
