Man, 59, Dies In Hartford Shooting: Police
Hartford police said the man was likely not the intended target of a drive-by shooting on Zion Street Tuesday morning.
HARTFORD, CT — A 59-year-old man has died after he was shot on Zion Street in Hartford Tuesday morning, police said.
Hartford police responded to the area of 307 Zion St. at around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday on a ShotSpotter activation. There, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man, later identified as Guillermo Gonzalez, was taken to a nearby hospital and was initially in critical condition. He died at the hospital, police said.

A preliminary investigation suggests the shots came from a passing vehicle and Gonzalez wasn't the intended target, police said.
