Weaver, who is executive vice president at Liberty, serves as the bank’s chief human resources officer.

Throughout her career, the Farmington resident has held key roles at institutions like Pitney Bowes, TD Bank, Travelers, and Voya Financial.

She’s also an ambassador of Liberty’s “Be Community Kind” brand, and volunteers with several organizations, including The Farmington Bank Community Foundation, the Connecticut Forum and the YWCA of Greater Hartford.

Weaver has worked for Liberty Bank since 2022.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University and her master’s degree in human resources management and counseling from the University of Bridgeport.

Schand, meanwhile, is an affordable lending originator for Liberty, where she has worked since
2024.

Before coming to Liberty, Schand began her career at Travelers, where she graduated from its Operations Leadership Development Program and worked as an operations manager for several years.

Schand, a resident of Hartford, earned her bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Delaware State University.

In addition to her work at Liberty, she is the author of the “Jumpstart Your Money Journey” book series for children and young adults, which teaches financial literacy in an engaging and relatable way.

Committed to community service, Schand serves on the Hartford Housing Authority’s Board of Directors and volunteers with her children’s football and cheer league.

“Liberty’s power is in its people – its teammates,” said Liberty President and Chief Executive Officer David W. Glidden. “We are proud of the great work that both Natalie and Rashia do at the Bank
and in the community. They are shining examples of Team Liberty in action, and I
congratulate them on this amazing recognition.”
