Upscale Downtown Hartford Eatery To Shutter: Report

The restaurant is located in the city's famous Goodwin Hotel.

HARTFORD, CT — An upscale restaurant operating in a historic Hartford building will shutter at year's end, but the space to be vacated appears to already be spoken for.

According to the Hartford Business Journal Tuesday, chef Tyler Anderson and his restaurant group will close the Terreno Restaurant and Bar Pina in downtown Hartford next month.

The eatery is located in the Goodwin Hotel building, which is located at 1 Haynes St., Hartford, and specializes in "seasonal Italian cuisine."

The Hartford Business Journal reports that Anderson is closing his restaurant to focus on his other locations, citing post-pandemic impacts that have harmed restaurants nationwide.
