Vehicle Fire Mess Cleared On I-84 In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A vehicle fire on Interstate 84 in East Hartford late Tuesday morning caused traffic problems for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the vehicle fire was on I-84 West between exits 59 and 58, resulting in the four right lanes being closed.

The incident was first reported at 9:52 a.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
