Well-Known Hartford Brew Pub Finally Open After Flood
The brewery/restaurant closed in February after water pipes froze and burst.
HARTFORD, CT — A well-known brew pub in Hartford is now open after it shut down for months due to a pipe burst last February.
City Steam Brewery, located 942 Main St., Hartford, reopened Wednesday, according to its Facebook page.
The brewery, whose restaurant, game room, comedy shows and long list of local microbrew beers, is known as an entertainment hub in Hartford.

But the site has stood silent since it was badly damaged by flooding last February, flooding attributed to a frozen and then burst water main.
While the mess was cleaned up, the brewery underwent extensive renovations, which were showed off Wednesday at a grand re-opening ceremony attended by many city officials and dignitaries, including Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin.
