LEDYARD, CT — On Nov. 4, Ledyard residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.

Election Day polling hours and locations

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Same day voter registration

If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Town Council, Vote for Up to Nine

The Democratic candidates are James C. Thompson, Carmen N. Garcia-Irizarry, Adrienne Parad, Jessica Buhle, April Brunelle, and Gary A. St. Vil and the Republican candidates are Caitlyn Greco, William Barnes, Gary R. McKeon, Whit Irwin, Tim Ryan, and Ty Lamb.


Board of Education, Vote for Up to Nine

The Democratic candidates are Kia Baird, Jenn Reguin, Felix Vajdos, Mary E. Harris, Alex Fritsch, and Amanda Veneziano and the Republican candidates are Brandon Graber, Alan Burton, Anthony Favry, Chase Dore, Stephen A. Munger, and Kimberly Mansfield.
