• Traditions, new and old, at 78th Seaport carol sing (theday.com) — A Ledyard resident is among the many locals helping keep the Mystic Seaport Museum’s 78-year-old community carol sing tradition going strong, joining the brass quartet after years of attending with his kids. Hundreds gathered Sunday with free admission, festive outfits, and donations for the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center as longtime director Jamie Spillane led carols on the McGraw Gallery Quadrangle green.
