Ledyard Fire Co. Mourns Loss of Life Member Marcelo Ladia Jr.

The Ledyard Fire Company regretfully announced the recent passing of Life Member Marcelo Ladia Jr.

"Marcelo was an active member of the fire company for a long period of time serving in various capacities over his career with us," the fire company wrote via Facebook. "Most recently he had been involved in reinvigorating the cadet program and fire police. We are deeply saddened by his passing and extend our condolences to his family and friends."

Arrangements are pending and will be announced at the discretion of the family.
