Ledyard Retailer Offers Décor of the Season on Etsy

If you haven’t stepped foot in Ledyard’s handmade wreath store called Once Upon a Door, don’t worry you’re in fine company. The shop is only online on Etsy.com, a website designed for arts and crafts people to expand their customer base beyond the usual craft fair circuit or storefront and sell their products to a global market online. Vendors have their own “stores” which are web pages filled with photos of their work.  

Once Upon a Door is a Ledyard-based Etsy store that opened in March and features handmade wreaths of a variety of materials.

“Jill E” is listed as the shop owner and she posted this on her welcome page, “Welcome to Once Upon A Door! Inside you will find handmade decor for your door and more! I am currently designing wreaths made for all seasons and occasions. If you have a special request please let me know and we will work together to make a wreath that is just right for you. I am also creating hair bow holders/organizers of all shapes and sizes. All hair bow holders can be customized with a name or saying. Please let me know what letter or shape you would like and I will create one just for you.” 

Pictured is “Patriotic Wreath”, which would look great on your door this month. According to the post it was made with mesh ribbon and it’s 24-inches in diameter.
