Ledyard Vehicle Stop Leads To Drug, Weapon Charges: Police
An East Hartford woman and a juvenile male were in the car at the time, according to police.
LEDYARD, CT — Police say they seized drugs, drug paraphernalia and a weapon during a motor vehicle stop Friday night.
Police received a call around 9:07 p.m. on March 7 about suspected narcotics activity, according to police.
Police located the suspected vehicle and stopped it in the vicinity of Church Hill Road and Spicer Hill Road.

According to police, they found multiple wax folds containing narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and an unregistered 9mm pistol loaded with 15 rounds of hollow point ammunition. When they searched the driver, they found a smoking pipe and more wax folds containing narcotics, police said.
Police charged the driver, Amy Brazalovich, 44, of 42 Mitchell Court, East Hartford, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and risk of injury to a minor. Brazalovich is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court in New London March 10.

A male juvenile was a passenger in the vehicle at the time, according to police. The juvenile was also charged, including for a weapons violation, and he was released to the custody of the state Department of Children and Families.
