• Foxwoods Hotel Closed Since Pandemic Will Reopen (patch.com) — Ledyard residents can look forward to the spring reopening of the Two Trees Inn near Foxwoods, closed since the start of the pandemic. Operated by Waterford Hotel Group, the 280-room property will bring new jobs, expanded lodging, and added economic activity to the Mashantucket Pequot community.
   

• SAE Exhibition Highlights (colonelnews.com) — Ledyard High School’s agriculture students are showcasing an impressive range of SAE projects, from caring for rabbits, goats, and sheep to greenhouse work, Jeep restoration, alpaca-wool crocheting, and dog photography. Many projects are rooted directly in Ledyard’s Ag program, including work with school alpacas and lambing and kidding crews, giving local students hands-on experience that benefits the wider community.
