Maker Meet-up: 3D Printer Training

- Details From Library Staff: Thanks to the generosity of Adam Strickland, we have a 3D printer. You are invited to the first of several sessions to be trained in its use.
- Curious onlookers are also welcome!After training, you are welcome to be a ‘printer volunteer’ who would run the machine for others, as well as printing your own projects.
Senior Book Discussion: ‘The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared’

- Ledyard Senior Center
- Mary Ellen Osborne, from the Gales Ferry Library, conducts a monthly book discussion at the Ledyard Senior Center. Anyone 55 years of age or older is eligible to participate. The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m.
- Upcoming books are distributed monthly at the discussion. All books chosen are available in large print and audio, as well as, regular versions. Please contact Mary Ellen if you would like a copy of the book.

- Marlaine Bernier will help guests learn to create their own coloring pages and to use acrylics like watercolors. No art ability required. Please wear clothing you won’t mind getting paint on.
