Sen. Cathy Osten to Hold Town Hall Meeting in Ledyard Monday

State Sen. Cathy Osten will have a public meeting with residents on Monday.

State Sen. Cathy Osten, D-19th District, was just in town to present a proclamation to former State Rep. Tom Reynolds for his dedication to his constituents and the Town of Ledyard during his years in the General Assembly.

According to a report in The Day, Reynolds "fought to bring more education funding to small towns, helped to prevent closure of the Naval Submarine Base, advocated for legislation combating domestic violence and drunken driving, and spoke out for responsible budgeting."

And, she returns on Monday but this time she wants to know how she can help you. As a new state senator, Osten wants to know what state issues are most important to her constituents and their families, reads a message posted on her website.  Please contact her office with any questions about the Town Hall Meeting or any concerns regarding state issues that you would like to give her feedback about or which you need assistance with.
