Submission Period For Foxwoods' Battle of the Bands Open

MASHANTUCKET, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino and Q105 FM/Cumulus radio present Battle of the Bands Summer 2016 at Live Atrium Bar & Lounge.

A $10,550 grand prize will be awarded to the best overall band. The runner-up will be granted a party in The Music Box at Foxwoods’ Grand Theater for up to 25 people.

Runner-up band members will also receive overnight accommodations at Fox Tower. The third place winner will receive a $500 gift card to Guitar Center.

The Details

Interested bands may submit demo file or a link to their demo to BattleOfTheBands@Foxwoods.com by April 30th. Videos are encouraged, but are not required. With each submission, bands should include a photo, bio, contact email and phone number. There is no entry fee required.

Qualifying bands will be notified by May 15 via the email address provided, with their date selected to battle. Bands must have a 45-minute set prepared. Original songs are accepted, however bands must include at least 50-percent cover songs in the set.

The Battle of the Bands; Prizes for the Audience

Beginning May 25, and running every Wednesday evening throughout the summer, bands will perform for the chance to take home the grand prize of $10,550.

Each week, fans who attend the battle will have a chance to win prizes in appreciation for their support. Audience prizes include Foxwoods tickets for concerts such as 3 Doors Down and Jeff Beck, entry into Liquid Sundays, the Northeast's only outdoor Vegas-style pool party, and Battle of the Band T-shirts.
