Hey Aljen Heights residents, are you planning to hook up to the water main?
According to WPCA April 23 meeting minutes, there will be a charge of $495 to hook up to the water line and your hook up will have to be inspected by Groton Utilities, which will cost $110.
There will likely be additional work needed to connect your actual plumbing to the line and for that, Ledyard residents are eligible for a no-interest deferred loan based on your household income. The loan can be deferred until and interest free "until a transfer of title, refinancing, the owner's demise or the subject property is no longer the applicant's principle place of residence."
