The 45-year-old mother and her young daughter were killed when the hijacked plane was crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center in New York City by terrorists.
Paula Clifford Scott, of Mystic, is Ruth's mother. Ten years after losing them, she reflects on their lives, where they would be now, and how she has coped.
After their deaths, a foundation was created in their memory and a memorial garden was constructed.
