New London County Restaurant Closes Abruptly After Less Than A Year

NORTH FRANKLIN, CT — A Mexican restaurant in North Franklin has abruptly closed, according to the Volare Mexican Restaurant & Bar website.

The restaurant opened in February and served authentic Mexican cuisine in an upscale atmosphere, The Connecticut Scoop reported.

Gift cards for Volare will be honored at sister restaurant Prime 82, a Norwich restaurant. Volare was located at 10 CT-32 in North Franklin.

Volare earned a 4.4-star rating on 118 Google reviews. The tacos, margaritas, and burritos all got high marks.
