Field House Farm Announces Bourbon Tasting
The local farm is hosting an educational event for adults.

Looking for a Father’s Day gift or just a cool thing to do? Your friends at Field House Farm are aiming to impress by hosting a bourbon tasting on Saturday, June 22.
They posted on this announcement on their Facebook page,
“Please join us as we welcome Bourbon Specialist and President of the Louisville Kentucky Bourbon Society, Paul Meyer, for an exclusive and intimate tasting of rare and unique Kentucky Bourbons."

They said the event will be educational, with a presentation of 5-6 bourbons and people will have the opportunity to learn more about “how to drink, discern, and enjoy bourbons to their fullest extent.”

And since we’re talking about the Field House Farm, they want you to know that their CSA program is still schedule to start mid-June, however, their greenhouses have given them a little jump on the season. They posted on Facebook that there is a “A variety of lettuce radish kohlrabi Swiss chard kale spring onions Parsley to name a few…”
Last week members we invited to pick up their week’s worth of produce so be on the look out for early offerings.
Here’s what they wrote:
"Attention all farm share CSA members: We still plan to start the program in the middle of June, but the greenhouse has allowed us to start many items early to get a jump start on the season. Lots of things are ready to harvest now. If you would like to take one week now , I can have it ready for you tmrw, Friday for your family to enjoy this weekend. Please email if interested.
