How Did You Tell Mom That You Love Her?

Happy Mother's Day to all Madison moms!

Happy Mother's Day!

People around Madison told their moms Happy Mother's Day in a variety of ways Sunday. The Mother's Day Tea hosted by Savvy Tea at the Mercy Center on Saturday was sold out. Students from Temple Beth Tikvah school made hand made gifts that included their little handprints. The sailing team at Daniel Hand High School set up a Mother's Day car wash at the Sunoco downtown and encouraged people to get mom's car washed on the way to brunch.

How did you tell mom that you love her Sunday? Let us know!

[Hint from Pem: If you forgot (no worries, it happens) and you're left without a gift at the last minute, R. J. Julia in downtown Madison opens at 10. You will definitely be able to find something there. In addition to books, they have a wide array of gift items, cards and even goodies in R.J. Cafe. Many other stores downtown open at noon on Sunday. And, remember that a hand made card, with or without handprints, is always welcome, no matter how old you are. You can get what you need for a handmade card in the school supplies aisle at CVS at the corner of Route 79 and Boston Post Road.]
