Madison Lyric Stage Holds 2017 Fundraiser Gala

From Madison Lyric Stage: Madison Lyric Stage will hold its season fundraiser An Evening on the Mediterranean Sea, on Saturday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Brewer Pilots Point Marina North Yard in Westbrook, CT

The “seaside” cocktail party will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and music reminiscent of a Spring evening on the Italian or Greek coast. Event sponsor, Tito’s Vodka, will provide a signature drink.

A highlight of the evening will be a “Mediterranean Bazaar” silent auction, featuring over 70 exciting items, including a Tory Burch wrap bracelet, a Vera Bradley tote and cooler, a one year membership with Sea Tow boating service, a Dewalt drill kit, a weekend stay in a Manhattan apartment, a dinner prepared in your home by a professional chef, tickets to the New Haven Symphony, an overnight stay at Hyatt

Place in Mystic, plus many gift certificates to local restaurants, salons, spas, golf courses and much more.

Madison Lyric Stage cast members will also provide a preview of their 2017 summer productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Otello.

“This will be a beautiful spring evening on the water, with fantastic food, cocktails and music,” said Marc Deaton, artistic director of Madison Lyric Stage. “We are so grateful to our supporters who make live theater right here in our Shoreline backyard possible.”

Madison Lyric Stage will present the comedy Blithe Spirit in April, the opera Otello, with orchestra, in June and the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, with band, in July. Money-saving season subscriptions for all three summer shows are available for $90.
