Madison Woman Arrested After Incident In South Windsor: Police

Authorities said she is accused of stealing items from a department store.

MADISON, CT — A 25-year-old Madison woman was arrested on a warrant this month by South Windsor police in connection with a February incident at a Target store, in which authorities said she stole about $500 worth of merchandise.

Alison Holden was arrested on April 17 and charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny, and remains in custody on unrelated charges from other jurisdictions, South Windsor police said in a post on Facebook.

Holden is accused of striking store asset protection agents with a shopping cart while trying to leave the store with the merchandise. No injuries were reported.

She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on June 10.
