Madison's Independence Week Schedule

MADISON, CT — Happy July 4th, Madison!

Friday marks the holiday, but before then, the town has meetings and a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day. See the schedule below:

MONDAY
June 30, 2025

• No scheduled meetings

TUESDAY
July 1, 2025

• 8:00 a.m.: School Building HVAC Project Committee Polson/Hand
• 6:30 p.m.: Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
• 7:00 p.m.: Beach and Recreation Commission

WEDNESDAY
July 2, 2025

• No scheduled meetings
• 12:00 p.m.: No beach parking passes will be sold in person at the Surf Club from noon on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 through Sunday, July 6, 2025. Residents will still be able to purchase seasonal passes online and show your receipt at the checkpoint. In person Pass/sticker sales will resume on Monday, July 7, 2025.

THURSDAY
July 3, 2025

• 6:00 p.m.: Salt Meadow Park Governance Committee

FRIDAY
July 4, 2025

• Town Offices Closed
• No scheduled meetings
• 10:00 a.m.: Madison Exchange Club’s Independence Day Parade

SATURDAY
July 5, 2025

• 6:00 p.m.: Madison Cultural Arts’ annual 4th of July Concert Opener, Lancraft Fife & Drum Corps
• 7:00 p.m.: Madison Cultural Arts’ annual 4th of July Concert Main Act, Wallingford Symphony Orchestra, Conducted by Philip Ventre
