MADISON, CT — Minor injuries were reported over the weekend when a boat ran aground at Meigs Point at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, according to a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=764046909240913&amp;id=100069068324725&amp;mibextid=WC7FNe&amp;rdid=5go3fYmZsGyzizqQ" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Facebook post</a> by Harbor Master Steven Adkins. The boat hit the rocky southeast shore of the point, and has since been removed by Sea Tow. Details of the crash were not immediately available, but Adkins wrote that foggy conditions and alcohol may have played a factor.
