Self-Defense Class Scheduled At Madison's Scranton Library
The class will be led by martial arts instructor Frank Shekosky.
MADISON, CT — Wednesday, August 13, 6:30 p.m.
Join us for a self-defense class led by Frank Shekosky, a martial arts instructor with over 30 years of experience. This class will provide you with protective tips to avoid confrontations, as well as essential self-defense techniques for situations where conflict cannot be avoided. No previous experience is required. Please dress comfortably.

Class objectives: By the end of the course, participants will be able to perform the following techniques:
1. Hand strikes: palm heel strikes, hammer fists, claws, and eye jabs

3. Self-defense techniques for wrist grabs, front chokes, chokes from behind, and bear hugs
