Information from the Town of Madison:MADISON, CT — Earlier this month Madison Youth and Family Services presented <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Glfpxg-8fbY" tabindex="-1" fr-original-style rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The State of Our Youth</a>. A panel of student leaders together with DHHS Principal Salutari reviewed the latest biennial student survey data, highlighting trends in youth attitudes and behaviors ranging from substance use, risky behaviors, and 40 developmental assets, which are positive attributes our students possess in order to grow up safe and healthy. This survey tool allows us to not only track concerning trends but also track what is working within our community to support development. The students shared their impressions and thoughtfully answered questions. Community members are encouraged to watch the presentation.
