MADISON, CT — Authorities executed a search warrant for weapons at a cottage in Madison early Friday morning, according to the Madison Police Department. The South-Central Connecticut Tactical Team assisted the Guilford Police Department with the search at approximately 5 a.m. within a specific cottage at the Beech Tree Cottages, located in the 1180 block of Boston Post Road, police said in a news release. Madison police also assisted in the GPD's investigation. No weapons were found, no injuries were reported and no arrests were made, police said. Police did not provide additional details about the investigation.
