The Week Ahead: Longshore Lane At Inland Wetlands, Volunteer Meeting, Plants, Shrubs, Book Launch

Here are some meetings and activities that might be of interest for the week of Monday, May 6, 2013 to Friday, May 10. If you know of any others, you are welcome to add them in the comment section below. 

Town meetings are as follows, as of Sunday evening: 

Monday: the Madison Alcohol and Drug Education Coalition is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Town Hall. The Inland Wetlands agency is scheduled to meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at town campus. Neither meeting had an agenda posted as of Sunday evening on the town website, linked to the calendar. Longshore Lane is scheduled to come up at the Inland Wetlands meeting, according to a legal notice posted on the town website. 

Tuesday: Youth and Family Services is scheduled to meet as of 7 p.m. at Memorial Town Hall. The Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. at town campus. The Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to consider three applications, including 905 Boston Post Road, 102 Middle Beach Road, and 12 Prospect Street. 

Wednesday: The Liberty Street Historic District Study Committee is listed as having a meeting at 7:30 p.m. at TBA. 

Thursday: The Fire Pension Committee, the Polson Building Committee, the Board of Police Commissioners, the Senior Services Commission, the Madison Solar Challenge, and the Economic Development Commission are scheduled to meet. 

Friday: The Ad Hoc Academy Building Advisory Committee is scheduled to meeting, also, the Madison Center Project.

Also, coming up are the following events: 

On Monday, the Madison Art Society Juried Exhibition at Scranton Memorial Library kicks off.

On Tuesday, there is a visitor center volunteer meeting. Attend to find out how you can volunteer at the town's visitor center. 

On Wednesday, the Friends of Hammonasset 13th Annual Plant and Shrub Sale starts. Shop early for the best selection!

Also Wednesday, check out the book launch party for TOPPED CHEF by Lucy Burdette. 

On Friday, there is a stress reduction clinic scheduled. And MadRugby takes on Stamford Academy!
