
Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center held its graduation ceremonies for 2013 on On Friday, July 12th at Westbrook High School.Â
Each graduating tudent received a Vista diploma and commendation certificate from United States Representative Joe Courtney for successfully fulfilling the
obligations of Vista Entrance Program.
During the ceremonies, each graduate was acknowledged for demonstrating
the level of independence needed to begin the next phase of their lives as
young adults living along the Connecticut shoreline.
Among the nearly 200 attendees were Connecticut State Representatives Tom
Vicino and Noreen Kokoruda who both participated in this years ceremonies,
recognizing the achievements of Vista’s graduating students with words of
inspiration.
Based in Westbrook and Madison, CT, Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center
is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization.  Vista’s mission is to provide
services and resources on an individualized basis to assist adults with
disabilities to live independent and successful lives.
