In my neighborhood we are getting out the lawn furniture, the summer toys, and getting rid of several seasons worth of debris. The swing sets are out, along with the Radio Flyer scooters, and street side basketball hoops. The presence of these toys reminds us that the roads are for people, not just cars.
The fair weather has also prompted the reappearance of wash hanging on the line.
The Summer Solstice is Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:04 a.m. But, in some ways, it feels like summer is already here.
