Youth Football Clinic Scheduled For Madison In July

The annual event is hosted by a local NFL veteran and Super Bowl champion.

MADISON, CT — Jack Driscoll, an NFL veteran and Madison native, is scheduled to hold his second annual youth football clinic at Strong Field, 87 Surf Club Road in Madison, on July 10.

The free event is for girls and boys in grades 3 through 8; to attend, register online on Eventbrite.

"Can’t wait for my second annual youth football camp in my hometown of Madison, Connecticut!" Driscoll wrote on Instagram. "It is an incredible honor to be able to give back to the community that helped me get to where I am today."

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and is hosted by the Madison Beach and Recreation Department.

Participants will receive a t-shirt, and pizza is being provided by Sally's Apizza. On the day of the event, people are asked to park in the gravel or grass lot in the rear of The Surf Club.

Driscoll, who graduated from Daniel Hand High School, is an offensive lineman, who was a member of the Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles this past year.
