12-Year Old Manchester Boy to Be Presented With 'Heroism Award' for Saving Brother's Life

Campfield Heinrich will be presented with a Heroism Award for saving his younger brother's life in a ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 27 at St. Mary's Church in town.

Although he's only 12 years old, Campfield Heinrich is the true definition of a hero.

Campfield, a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 27, recently saved his nine-year old brother Paxton's life by administering the Heimlich Maneuver to him while he was choking.

For his efforts, Campfield will be presented with a Heroism Award on Thursday, Sept. 27 at St. Mary's Church at 41 Park St.
