"5 Things You Need to Know..." About Public Meetings, Fun Runs, and Santa's Workshop
There are plenty of interesting events going on in the Manchester area today.
Today's a busy day in 5 Things land, so we'll get right to it:Â
1. The Board of Education will hold its regular meeting for the month of December tonight at 7 in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room. Expect more discussion on the status of indoor track practice/meets at Manchester High School and the midterm exam schedule.Â
2. You can take the kids to without having to travel all the way to the North Pole! Now through Dec. 23, a section of Wickham Park has been transformed into Santa's North Pole workshop - and the best part of it is the whole thing is completely free.Â

3. For those in the mood for holiday tunes, the Community Choir of Manchester will hold a  at Manchester High School at 7 p.m.Â
4. Or, for those who are still looking for ways to stay in shape this holiday season, you can meet up with the Silk City Striders running club at Mt. Nebo Park on Spring Street at 5:15 p.m. for a .Â

5. And there's still time to participate in the Broad Street Visual Preference Survey. The Manchester Redevelopment Agency will hold a special meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room to unveil the survey's findings and present some of the possible zoning amendments that could be coming to the Broad Street area.
