MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester store is one of at least three in the Forever 21 chain set to close in Connecticut with final sales ongoing, while a fourth could be playing possum, saying it is "liquidating" an abundance of inventory.

The Manchester store is located at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall.

The chain features clothing for men and women, along with accessories, home goods and beauty products. It was founded in 1984 in Los Angeles. Bloomberg is reporting that a bankruptcy filing is a possibility, pending the outcome of "asset" sales.
