Cops Snag Would-Be Lego Thief At Buckland Big Box Store

SOUTH WINDSOR/MANCHESTER, CT — A 26-year-old Manchester man who tried to steal $122 worth of Legos from a big box store in Buckland Hills is facing a criminal charge, according to police.

On Wednesday, the man was arrested when South Windsor officers responded to Target for reports about a larceny in progress.

Target loss prevention staffers said they recovered the Legos and the man left the store on foot.

Officers then located the man and he was issued a misdemeanor summons for criminal attempt at larceny in the sixth degree.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 5.
