Criminal Sex Charges Filed Against Windsor Board of Education Member
A member of the Windsor Board of Education was taken into custody in Florida after allegedly traveling there to have sex with a minor.

Windsor Board of Education member Christopher Watts was charged with attempting to entice a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity via the Internet, according to the United States Attorney's office.
Watts, the U.S. Attorney's office says, responded to a chat-room posting on an unidentified "public Website" that said "dad has daughter."
The online posting was made by an undercover officer investigating the particular website Watts was allegedly using.

The U.S. Attorney's office says Watts, 38, told the undercover officer having sex with a 14-year-old girl was a "big fantasy" of his, sent an explicit photo of himself, and then traveled to Brevard County, FL, where he was taken into custody.
If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years to life in federal prison.

United States Homeland Security, the Brevard County Sherriff's office and the Windsor Police Department are involved in the investigation.
