Dog Found Abandoned In Busy Buckland Retail Parking Lot
Authorities in Manchester are looking for someone who abandoned a dog in a busy parking lot Monday.

MANCHESTER, CT — A dog was abandoned in a busy retail parking lot in Manchester and authorities are trying to track down who did it.
Manchester Animal Control officials said the dog was discovered alone in a crate at about 5 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot in the Buckland Hills section of Manchester. The dog had been dropped off along a curb at the southern end of the lot — in between Walmart and Savers — according to an image posted by animal control officials.
"We are looking for any assistance in locating the former owner and who is responsible for abandoning him," authorities said.
