Flash Flood Warning Issued For Hartford/Tolland County
And there is more rain in the forecast too.

HARTFORD/TOLLAND/WINDHAM COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for northern Connecticut up until 11 p.m. Sunday.
"Watch has been extended as another round of showers and thunderstorms will bring rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches this afternoon and tonight with locally higher amounts possible," the weather service said Sunday morning.
"The ground remains wet from recent rainfall and the additional heavy rainfall this afternoon and tonight may cause rapid flooding of urban areas and small streams."

The National Weather Service in Norton has issued a Flood Warning for...East Central Hartford County until 12:45 PM EDT.
* At 933 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.

Hartford, Manchester, East Hartford, Glastonbury, Windsor, Wethersfield, South Windsor and East Windsor. The Hockanum River in East Hartford is currently above flood stage.

Mansfield, Windham, Ludlow, Ellington, Tolland, Belchertown, Wilbraham, Coventry, Palmer, Stafford, Somers, Ware, Sturbridge, Monson, Woodstock, Willington, Warren, Ashford, West Brookfield and Brimfield.
Localized rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area this afternoon from additional showers and thunderstorms.
