Highland Park Market to Unveil New 'Green' Grocery Bags
EarthHook to demonstrate new reusable bag hook and hand out new, free reusable Highland Park Market Grocery Bags on Saturday, June 30 from 9 am – noon at the Manchester and Glastonbury Highland Park Market Stores.
On Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 9 a.m. to p.m., EarthHook and Highland Park Market will unveil the first reusable bag hooks, as well as give away free reusable bags.
The event is part of Highland Park Market’s “Green Initiative” day. Highland Park Market will be the first grocery store in the country to employ EarthHook™, the simple, patent-pending solution that gives consumers a convenient place to store reusable shopping bags, off of the exterior of the shopping cart. EarthHook is a permanently affixed attachment for today’s shopping carts. Now consumers have a handy place to load their reusable bags without sacrificing valuable cart space.
“We are thrilled to install EarthHooks on our shopping carts to promote the use of reusable shopping bags and provide our customers with a convenient place to store their bags,” said Tim Devanney, president ofHighland Park Market.
