Man In Prison For Manchester Armed Robbery Accused Of In-Cell Mayhem
An outburst in prison is just the latest charge against a Manchester man.

MANCHESTER, CT — A man doing time for an armed robbery in Manchester is accused of assaulting a corrections officer attempting to carry out an isolation order after theft in prison, state police said.
Kyle Bolduc, 26, of Manchester, was served a warrant on Jan. 28 in connection with the Oct. 13 incident, according to state police records. He is in the midst of a 12-year sentence, suspended after five, at Osborn Correctional Institution in Somers related to a conviction for first-degree robbery with a firearm, according to judicial system records.
Manchester police initially arrested Bolduc for that crime in April 2020. Judicial system records show none convictions for him since 2017, ranging from larceny to reckless driving.

According to the warrant served last week, Bolduc was told he was being sent to a restrictive housing unit in connection with a stolen TV. An enraged Bolduc then refused to move and then started throwing shampoo inside and outside of his cell, making the flooring slick, according to a warrant.
He also spit on a corrections officer, according to a warrant.

He was eventually moved to the restrictive unit without further incident, according to a warrant.
In Connecticut, assaulting a public safety officer is a Class C felony, which can result in up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The arrest put another $75,000 on his bail tab and Bolduc is expected to be in Rockville Superior Court on Feb. 11, records show.
