Manchester police said cold weather protocol is in effect through Sunday.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police said cold weather protocol is in effect through Sunday.
Here is the announcement:
A Severe Cold Weather Protocol is in effect until noon on Sunday, January 4th. The unusually cold weather and strong winds are continuing. Wind chill values are expected to fall into the single digits early Tuesday morning as a strong northwest wind develops. While wind chills Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning may hover near or just above protocol thresholds, a much colder air mass is expected to arrive late Wednesday into Thursday. From Thursday through early Sunday, wind chill values are likely to fall to zero or below in the mornings for many inland communities.
