All public schools in Manchester are closed Monday.

Manchester Public Schools will be closed Monday due to the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Sandy, joining a growing list of schools in town that have closed as the storm nears.Â
Public schools in town have only been cancelled through Monday thus far, according to Interim Superintendent Richard Kisiel; a decision on future dates is expected Monday afternoon.Â
Howell Cheney Techical High School, East Catholic High School and Manchester Community College have also announced they will be closed Monday.Â
