Manchester's 4th of July Celebration Set for Saturday

The 29th annual James "Dutch" Fogarty Independence Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 7, at the Bicentennial Bandshell on the campus of Manchester Community College.

While most of America will be celebrating the birth of our nation on Wednesday, July 4, Manchester will hold its on Saturday, July 7. 

The 29th annual James Dutch Fogarty Independence Day Celebration at  is scheduled for Saturday, July 7, with a rain date of Sunday, July 8.

Festivities are scheduled to begin 4 p.m., with bands Skyline Drive scheduled to play from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Mohegan Sun All Stars scheduled to play from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The fireworks are set for 9:30 p.m. 

Tickets for the annual Chicken BBQ can be purchased the day of the event for $8. For more information, please call 860-647-5235.
