More Heat, Smoke And Thunderstorms For Northern Connecticut
The National Weather Service has released a timeline for when thunderstorms may occurr in northern parts of CT on Tuesday.

NORTHERN CONNECTICUT — It will be another hot day in Hartford and Tolland County with temperatures soaring into the low 90s. This may lead to some rain showers and thunderstorms in the evening hours, the National Weather Service said.
Some rain showers may spill into early Wednesday. WTNH News 8 chief meteorologist Gil Simmons said, "A smoky sky expected again to develop for this afternoon! If you have any breathing issues it could be tough again! Otherwise hazy sun today with high temperatures 85° to 90°. Moderate humidity! Some scattered thunderstorms tonight and early tomorrow."
The timeline for the chance of thunderstorms Tuesday is after 5 or 6 p.m., according to the weather service.

New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday: A chance of showers, mainly before 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. North wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Thursday: A chance of showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. South wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Northwest wind 6 to 10 mph.
