New-Look Manchester Walmart Features Locally Inspired Mural
The Manchester Walmart has undergone a makeover.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Walmart has a new look that includes a mural with a local flair.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for Friday at 11 a.m. to recognize improvements that include "customer-centric features" and a new "community focused mural."
The newly remodeled Walmart store is located at 420 Buckland Hills Drive.

The ribbon-cutting celebration will include recognition of organizations "making an impact in the community" and the appreciation of several long-term Walmart associates.
Walmart officials said the associates being recognized have been with the store their entire careers.

The ceremony will also mark the official unveiling of a mural, created by local artist Ella Geida, that "accentuates the charm of Manchester, featuring the downtown shops and restaurants, the stunning views of Wickham Park, and Case Mountain which features iconic stone arch waterfalls and scenic hiking trails."
The mural welcomes customers as they walk intio the store and takes up an entire wall.
