Police Seize More Than Two Pounds of Marijuana in Traffic Stop
The suspect, Brandon Edwards, is facing a litany of drug offenses.

A routine traffic stop Thursday night turned into anything but after police found the driver in possession of more than two pounds of marijuana.Â
According to Manchester Police, Brandon Edwards, 21, was operating an Acura when it was pulled over. Edwards was found to be transporting over two pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.Â
Police then obtained a search warrant for Edwards' 43 Garden Dr. residence, only to discover more than half an ounce of marijuana, packaging supplies, scales and other drug paraphernalia.Â

Edwards is facing charges of possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of school, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of school, two counts of operating a drug factory, possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana and failure to obey a traffic signal.Â
Edwards is being held on a $270,000 bond.Â
