TELL US: What Would You Like to See Happen to Nathan Hale School?
The Board of Education voted to officially close the neighborhood school last week, but we want to know what you would like to see happen to the former elementary school on Spruce Street?

Last week, the Board of Education .Â
After hearing from the school system's facilities manager that the Spruce Street elementary school, which dates to 1921 and still contains many of its original systems, to its aging heat piping and boiler systems, and more than $20 million for a "like new" renovation, the Board of Education voted to take the school "offline" for at least the 2012-13 school year in February of this year.Â
Last Monday, the Board of Education elected to clarify its decision by terming the school officially "closed."Â
