The Shoppes at Buckland Hills to Help Local Schools Raise Funds This Weekend

The Shoppes at Buckland Hills and local-area schools, including Community School at Maple Street, Pitkin Elementary and Robertson Elementary, will join forces to host a fun, in-mall event to celebrate schools and the mall’s charitable partnership with DonorsChoose.org.

The event kicks off on Saturday, October 13 with musical performances by Pitkin Elementary. Students at the Academy of Martial Arts will then take the stage to give a karate demonstration. Following, Robertson Elementary will have Circle Time with students. The event will continue on October 14 with small fundraisers and donation tables.

The partnership with DonorsChoose.org is designed to assist local-area schools and teachers with much-needed supplies and funding. All funds raised during the event go directly to the participating schools for funding and supplies.

Saturday, October 13

12pm              Pitkin Elementary musical performance

2pm                Academy of Martial Arts karate demonstration
